Shipping and Receiving Team Member

WHS Homes, Inc. is seeking a hardworking and reliable team member to join our Shipping and Receiving department at our manufacturing facility in Claremont, NH. The Shipping and Receiving candidate should have:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • General carpentry skills
  • Knowledge of construction materials
  • A desire to learn; we are willing to train the right person for this full time position
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Experience in shipping/receiving a plus
  • Ability to:
    • Work safely and accurately with both heavy objects and sharp tools
    • Lift at least 50 lbs
    • Work in varying weather conditions and temperatures
    • Work overtime if required

ARCHITECTURAL CAD DESIGNER

To be considered for the Architectural CAD Designer position, candidate must be able to:

  • Develop architectural drawings for log and/or timber framed products in order to obtain bids, secure permitting and satisfy engineering requirements;
  • Use ArchiCad (architectural drawings) and Cadwork (shop and technical drawings) to design residential and/or commercial buildings;
  • Produce 3-dimensional drawings for use by architects, engineers as well as customers and builders;
  • Possess knowledge of design/engineering and some knowledge of structural design;
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with Sales, Pricing and Manufacturing Departments;
  • Work independently on assigned projects; and
  • Have a positive attitude.

Education
Minimum A.S. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design or closely related field.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER FOR WHS HOMES, INC. (TIMBERPEG, REAL LOG HOMES AND AMERICAN POST & BEAM BRANDS).

WHS Homes, Inc. is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join our team. If you are organized, have exceptional customer service and communications skills, a positive attitude and a professional demeanor you could be the perfect candidate for a WHS Homes, Inc. Regional Sales Manager.

The Regional Sales Manager’s responsibilities include:

  • Following up on, qualifying, and developing leads in order to secure sales
  • Managing client projects from inception through completion including pre-construction planning, design, production, delivery, and construction phases
  • Working effectively with our in-house design, marketing, pricing, and production departments to ensure successful and efficient project execution
  • Pro-actively communicating with customers to set realistic expectations and address problems as they arise
  • Attending territory-specific home shows and other industry and trade events to market and drive sales
  • Thoroughly reviewing CAD drafted plans to ensure accuracy Reviewing project pricing and writing contracts
  • Supporting & managing assigned Independent Representatives in their sales and marketing efforts
  • Training sales support staff

Education
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or demonstrated work experience in a related field.
