New Environmentally Friendly Cedar Trim Products Available

Timberpeg® is proud to offer two new options for homeowners looking to build with green products. We now offer CSA (Canadian Standard Association) certified standard clear cedar trim in all of our 1 by dimensions. The certification provided by the CSA promises that wood products were produced from a defined forest area which meets a multitude of requirements. In addition to the above mentioned cedar trim, all other cedar trim available is SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified. An independent audit is required for all SFI certifications. These audits are rigorous, on-the-ground assessments of an organization's operations conducted by highly qualified and accredited auditors.

Of the leading certification programs in the United States, the SFI program is the only North American forest certification program that maintains strict separation between standard setting and accreditation of certifying bodies. International protocols require that these functions be separate.
