The entry is clearly marked, and leads into a dramatic cathedral space.
This combination waiting and reception area has a seating area, receptionist’s station, and modest display areas on one wall. To either side are panelized and conventionally-built two story wings, including a conference room with a timber framed ceiling system.
This first floor conference room also has extensive displays of the latest wares being sold by the company. The remainder of the first floor contains the Design Department, Accounting, and the Employee Lounge. Upstairs there is an open balcony overlooking the entry, with Purchasing and Customer Service on one side, and the President’s and other Officers’ private offices on the other.
This building presents a dramatic entrance to visitors, while maintaining efficient and relatively inexpensive office space in the remainder of the building.
