The extraordinary Timberpeg® designs you see on this website come from humble beginnings. Our first timber project, a simple structure constructed in the fall of 1972, featured the traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery that has become our trademark. |
|
We’ve been designing and fabricating Timberpeg timber frame homes since 1974 and today, Timberpeg is a national company with more than 3,000 timber frame projects to its credit. Timberpeg headquarters are in Claremont, New Hampshire, which is also home to our design department. From there, we direct the fabrication of our custom designed homes and light commercial structures to our timber frame manufacturing facility.
With Independent Representatives located across the country and in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Timberpeg is always ready to help you take your timber frame home project from dream to reality. |

Timberpeg homes are based on a modular system of design and engineering that makes them infinitely adaptable in style, layout and size. Although Timberpeg has over 50 timber frame floor plans to browse on our website, almost all of the timber frame buildings we produce are custom designed to meet specific lifestyle, budget and site requirements. We realize not everyone has the same needs or wants and we design every timber frame home to reflect the personalities of each homeowner. |

If you like the look of post and beam but want a little less "wood" in your home or a simpler timber frame than what you see in a traditional Timberpeg, the Yankee Post & Beam™ style of home provides a simple, refined frame for those looking for a lighter, more open feel. The framing in these homes is more simple, using less posts and less joinery. Visit www.yankeepostandbeam.com to learn more about this style of building. |
